Benefits of Selling Using the Auction
Method
Part 2: Tag Sales, Garage Sales and Yard Sales
Tag Sales, Garage Sales and Yard Sales are all very similar
in their fashion of selling, except that an outside seller is
usually hired to run a Tag Sale. The drawbacks to this type
of selling are three-fold. First, it is hard to tell
if you have things priced too high or too low. This can be difficult
to decide upon because the market for used items varies considerably
by area. Second, these sales usually span multiple
days, which takes up extra time and setup. Finally,
you never know what you will or will not sell. Often you are
left with many things left over; these are generally the lower
end items that are harder to sell or nobody wants. This requires
more time after the sale to find other options to dispose of
the leftover items.
